Sea Lion & Dolphin Tour - SWIM

Experiencing the Sea Lions and Dolphins in Baird Bay is a must do activity when travelling Eyre Peninsula. This interactive wildlife tour is safe, fun and a truly incredible and unique experience.

Nicknamed “the puppies of the sea” the Sea Lions are so playful and stunning to watch. We take a small boat out to Jones Island and see the Sea Lions in their natural habitat. After finding a safe spot to moor the boat you are able to follow your guide in the water and swim with the Sea Lions. The experience is all about letting these wild animals be in charge. We do not feed them, we view them in their natural rock pools surrounding their island home. The whole Baird Bay Experience is about meeting the Sea Lions and Dolphins on their terms, in their habitat.

After your tour a casual meal will be provided, showcasing some stand out local flavours and produce prepared by our in house Chef.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Tours operate from 2.5 hours to 4 hours depending on the interactions with the animals on the day.
• Afternoon Tours only available when demand permits. Please use the Contact Us button to make a request if this is not showing as available.
• Child rate applies to guests aged 17 and under, including infants.
• Tour does not run during winter month of July.
• 1 standard drink is included with the catering package after your tour.
