Experiencing the Sea Lions and Dolphins in Baird Bay is a must do activity when travelling Eyre Peninsula. This interactive wildlife tour is safe, fun and a truly incredible and unique experience.
Nicknamed “the puppies of the sea” the Sea Lions are so playful and stunning to watch. We take a small boat out to Jones Island and see the Sea Lions in their natural habitat. After finding a safe spot to moor the boat you are able to view from the boat as other guests jump in the water and swim with the Sea Lions. The experience is all about letting these wild animals be in charge. We do not feed them, we view them in their natural rock pools surrounding their island home. The whole Baird Bay Ocean Eco Experience is about meeting the Sea Lions and Dolphins on their terms, in their habitat.

- Tours operate from 2.5 hours to 4 hours depending on the interactions with the animals on the day.
