Sea Lion & Dolphin Swim Tour with Lunch
Swim with wild sea lions and dolphins, followed by a seasonal two-course lunch.
Experiencing the sea lions and dolphins of Baird Bay is one of the Eyre Peninsula's most memorable wildlife encounters. This tour combines our signature swim experience with a relaxed two-course lunch showcasing seasonal local produce.
Your adventure begins with a scenic boat journey across the pristine waters of Baird Bay to Jones Island, home to a resident colony of Australian Sea Lions, affectionately known as the "puppies of the sea".
After anchoring in a protected area, you'll enter the water under the guidance of our experienced team to interact with these curious and playful animals in their natural environment. Their intelligence, agility and inquisitive nature create an unforgettable wildlife experience unlike any other.
We then cruise to another area of the bay, where you'll have the opportunity to swim with wild Dolphins. Renowned for their curiosity and playful behaviour, these remarkable animals often choose to approach guests, creating truly magical encounters.
Importantly, our wildlife experiences are conducted with the utmost respect for the animals and their environment. We do not feed, touch or interfere with the Sea Lions or Dolphins. Instead, we meet them on their terms, in their natural habitat.
Following your tour, enjoy a relaxed two-course lunch inspired by the flavours of the Eyre Peninsula. Local seafood often features on our menus, alongside regional meats and fresh seasonal produce. We are happy to cater for dietary requirements with advance notice.
