Sea Lion & Dolphin Tour: SWIMMING with Lunch included

From AUD $335.00
  • Duration: 4 Hours (approx.)
  • Location: Baird Bay, SA
  • Product code: PMPCLD

Experiencing the Sea Lions and Dolphins in Baird Bay is a must-do activity when visiting the Eyre Peninsula. Selecting this more expensive option adds in a lunch with your tour booking.

We take a small boat to Jones Island to see the Sea Lions (nicknamed 'puppies of the sea'), playing in their natural habitat. We find a safe spot to moor, so you can fit your snorkel and follow your guide into the water to swim with these magnificent creatures. Then, we jump back on the boat and navigate to the other side of the Bay for another swim in deeper water, where wild Dolphins play and welcome visitors with curiosity... and often, charisma.  Importantly, we do not feed/touch the Sea Lions or Dolphins - instead we meet them respectfully on their terms, in their habitat.

Our lunches consist of a simple but delicious two course daily menu, inspired by what is in season and what's available locally.  Being on the Eyre Peninsular, we love to cook seafood from our trusted suppliers, but we cater our lunch to suit all dietary information provided on your booking.

Example menus (changes daily, these are just an example):

Panfried King George whiting with seaweed & ginger butter, tomatoes, capers & hand cut chips then a dessert of Classic creme caramel with wattleseed & strawberries

Streaky Bay lamb chops with chopped salad & tzatziki followed by Mango & white chocolate pavlova
